Hey hey hey. Before you question my sanity, this was his fault.This is my confession in case he ever reads my blog. I won’t apologize for my crazy ok. But my xoxo identity will never be revealed muahahaha. Anyway, it wasn’t that big a deal, I was just thinking about it on a random Tuesday and chuckled.
He kind of forced me to get a Costco membership because he likes the Kirkland brand honey specifically. I never go to Costco so I didn’t want to add an extra annual fee to my life. Note that my parents don’t live in the US so whenever they visit, I get a laundry list of things they want so they can take it back to Nigeria. Anyway, I didn’t fight him on this because Costco is great and gas is expensive. But I was still not about to pay the Costco Membership in full though…
So I guilt tripped him into paying half of it ($30). However, I got $20 cash back from using DOSH to pay the membership (Read Easy Beer Money post for more on DOSH). In the end I only contributed $10 to the Costco Membership. I have no guilt with this. This is who I am at my core. This will not be the last time I scam my father.
