Gen Z Guide to FI

Wassup homies! I have 48 days till my Round 1 deadlines. So I’m actually going to switch to 1 post a week in the meantime so I can manage my time and stress better. Sadly.

My therapist convinced me I shouldn’t work on my MBA applications when I go to Japan. I’m like, ‘Girl you is right’. I should have fun in Japan.

But to get to the point where I don’t have to work on my essays for 9 days in Japan, I must front all the leg work in the coming 2 weeks. It’s a busy life for the next 6 weeks. I’m excited, though. On a random note, I’ve been listening to old Mexican Ranchera music heavily these days. They are so inspiring and dramatic to me. I need that heavy drama for main character energy.

I want to get 6 out of my 8 schools done by the Round 1 deadline.

I recently said that I wanted to quit in March. If I can get my essays in a good place by this deadline, I’ll know if I’ve gotten in somewhere by December. I can end this year knowing if it will be realistic to quit in March or nah. And I can start planning my LONG LONG summer vacation.

I’m applying to UCLA, Emory, NYU, Columbia, Stanford, and Yale in Round 1. Then USC & Harvard in Round 2. At least, that’s the dream.
