I found another cash-back app, homies. Gas in California is ridiculous. In the last month, I’ve saved $20 on gas using the Upside App. It is similar to Ibotta, which I discussed in my post – Easy Beer Money. You can get actual cash money back instead of just gift cards.

There wasn’t much hassle in using the app. Some gas stations require you to upload a receipt. Some others need you to use the credit card linked to the Upside App. You can also use the app to save on groceries and restaurants. I’ve used it for Food for Less, Dominos and Starbucks as well. They have a lot more options on the app.
