My company cut me off

Cut off from lunches. Not employment. They cut everyone off because the company isn’t having a great year financially. I knew one day they’d cut us off. The dreaded day is here. I have to meal prep again. Bruh.

Well, getting free lunches or coffee was always a perk of the job. It definitely made the days more enjoyable and the team happier. I mentioned in my $100 Grocery Budget that I only spent $100 monthly on groceries. Well, fuck, because that has increased. It started increasing sometime last month because I was tired of feeling bad for not wanting to cook. I actually deserve takeout on lazy days. I’m going to justify that for myself moving forward. Every day doesn’t have to be home cooked. I need to snap myself out of that guilt.

I ordered a bunch of takeout and it reduced my stress. I’m realizing now that I have at least 3 lunches a week covered from work. My coffee was covered every day. I still take myself to lunch once a week during work for my mental health. Also, my coworker bought me lunch, too, so now he has my heart. Just kidding, y’all, he has a boyfriend.

I’ve spent nearly $200 this month on food, which is still very reasonable. Inflation is a bitch, even at grocery outlet. I haven’t done extensive meal prep for work, but I started to eat more at home. I was told it is only till the end of the year that meals are cut off. But I’m ready for the worst case scenario – they might be cut off forever. *cries in poverty*

Where is my rich lover who shows affection by feeding me? Now will be an excellent time to show yourself.
