I got full rides to Yale & Emory.

I got in homies!! These are the first 2 schools I’ve heard from – Yale University and Emory University. I got full tuition scholarships at both programs through the consortium (I wrote about them in my post on How I saved $1800 in MBA Application fees). If you’re new here, I would recommend reading through my MBA series to see how I got to this point.

I got an interview for NYU after all, so I have 3 more schools to hear from this month. The remaining 3 are NYU, Columbia, and UCLA. I am pretty honestly torn because the impostor in me didn’t actually believe that getting those scholarships was within reach. Now, I’m having analysis paralysis but I am so grateful for everything and everyone that has gotten me to this point. It is 1000% possible to achieve what you want and I have documented all the steps I took to get there throughout my MBA series.

I’m ready to quit my job. I talked about quitting in my post – Let’s Quit this Bitch. It was more of a pipe dream than something I realistically expected at the time. Now, as I go back and read it, I have fulfilled 3 out of the 8 things I need to do, so I feel comfortable quitting in March 2024.

  1. Getting into 1 MBA program
  2. Gaining scholarships would be nice but with or without them I can still quit
  3. Money and miles saved for a few months of travel

For the remaining roadblocks to quitting early, you can read the full post here.

I don’t have much to say besides Thank You, God. Thank you, Fire Babies, for the positivity, and welcome to the beginning of my new life. It has been a long, long road and it is only just beginning.
