As part of my MBA application journey (see my MBA SERIES), I discussed one of my pre-MBA programs – Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT). This program was FUCKING AMAZING!! This game-changer program got me 5 full-tuition scholarships at top universities, including 1 Ivy League.
I wrote a little about the program here, but that was a year ago before I experienced all the seminars and met my coach. My Coach was absolutely amazing. Admissions consultants would charge you $10,000 for the advice that I got from here. The full program was $1,105 TOTAL for 3 seminars around the country (hotels included, but we were responsible for transportation) + access to our coaches and admission reps at all of the top 20 MBA programs.
Pursuing education shouldn’t have such an economic barrier. Why is getting access to career-enhancing opportunities so expensive? That’s a rant for another day.
Anyway, that’s where MLT comes in clutch. MLT aims to bridge those gaps among Black, Hispanic, and Native American students. I don’t know what I was expecting when I first started the journey but it definitely exceeded all my expectations. I have made some amazing friends from the program. Now I’m signing up for the MLT professional development program that supports underrepresented minorities to get internships and jobs at major companies.
